VERY astue analysis, as usual. Paul is a much greater danger to this election than I think some people realize. For a time I thought he was simply (and shamelessly) exploiting people’s fears and catering to the fringe in this; which is bad enough. But I think you nailed it. He’s a misanthrope, through and through…
